Signing Waivers
When the club requires liability waivers, every member of your family must sign the current season’s waivers before using the facilities. Adults sign for themselves; a parent or guardian signs for children.
Where to sign
Section titled “Where to sign”- If anyone in your family still has a waiver to sign, Home shows a warning card. Open it to go straight to the waivers page.
- You can also go to Settings and open Waivers (
/home/settings/waivers).
The page lists everyone in your family under Adults and Children. Each person’s card shows a badge — All signed or N to sign — and one row per required waiver. A signed row reads “Signed (date) by (name)”; an unsigned row has a Sign button.
Signing for yourself
Section titled “Signing for yourself”- Click Sign next to the waiver on your own card.
- Read the waiver text. Some waivers include extra questions — text entries (for example, listing your children) or confirmation checkboxes. Required ones must be completed.
- Below the attestation (“I, (your name), have read and agree to the terms above.”), Type full name to sign.
- Click Sign waiver.
Signing for children
Section titled “Signing for children”When an adult signs their own waiver, the dialog also offers Also sign as parent/guardian for with a checklist of the children in your family who still need that waiver. Children are pre-checked; untick anyone you don’t want to sign for. The button changes to Sign for N members and one signature covers everyone selected.
You can also sign for a child separately by clicking Sign on their card. The attestation then reads “I am the parent or legal guardian of (child) and agree to the terms above on their behalf.”
Signing for another adult
Section titled “Signing for another adult”An adult can sign on another adult’s behalf by opening Sign on that person’s card. The attestation confirms that person has authorized you to sign for them.
What happens at check-in
Section titled “What happens at check-in”Front desk staff see each person’s waiver status when your family checks in. Depending on the club’s settings, an unsigned waiver either shows a warning or blocks that person from being checked in until it’s signed. The same rule applies to self check-in in the Klahaya app, where an unsigned person shows Waiver needed with a Sign now link.
