Your Family Tab
When the club runs the snack cart in Tab Mode, purchases at the cart and popsicle-pack reloads are added to a running tab for your family instead of being charged one at a time. The tab is charged to your card on file on a schedule the club sets.
Opening Your Tab
Section titled “Opening Your Tab”From Home, open the snack-cart tab card (the club chooses the cart’s name — for example Snack Cart Tab). Staff can also open it for you as /home/tab.
The page shows:
- Running balance — everything on the tab that hasn’t been charged yet
- Next automatic charge — the date the club will charge your card
- Your tab limit — the cap you control (see Tab Limits)
- Items — each purchase with the item name, when it was added, and the amount
How Purchases Land on the Tab
Section titled “How Purchases Land on the Tab”- At the concessions cart, staff pick your family and the sale is added to your tab. If you don’t have a card on file yet, staff will ask you to tap a card on the reader once — that card is saved and the sale goes on the tab.
- When you buy popsicle packs online with a card on file, the review page reads Add to tab — $X rather than charging your card.
- Staff reloading punches at the front desk see Add $X to tab for the same reason.
Automatic Reconciliation
Section titled “Automatic Reconciliation”The club chooses a cadence — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly — and your tab is charged to your card on file on that day. The Tab page and your tab emails both show the next charge date. After a successful charge you receive a tab paid email with a link to the receipt.
Paying Early
Section titled “Paying Early”You don’t have to wait for the scheduled charge:
- On your Tab page, click Pay tab now
- Confirm Pay your tab now? — this charges your card on file for the current balance
- A toast confirms the amount charged and the tab closes
The button is disabled while the balance is zero or the tab is already being charged.
Frozen Tabs
Section titled “Frozen Tabs”If a scheduled charge to your card fails, the tab is frozen: no new items can be added until a charge succeeds. The Tab page shows a warning, and you’ll receive an Action needed email. Update your card under Payment Methods, then use Pay tab now or wait for the club’s automatic retry. See Tab Emails and Holds.
In the Klahaya App
Section titled “In the Klahaya App”The app’s tab screen shows the same running balance, next charge date, and items. Pay outstanding tab opens a confirmation and charges your card on file; if the only method on your account is a bank account, the app explains that a card is needed and links you to the website to add one.
