Sending a Gift

You can buy popsicle punch packs for another family at the club. The punches land on their balance right away, and they receive an email with your note.

Starting a Gift

1. From Home, open Popsicle Punches
2. Click Gift punches to another member
3. The Send a Gift page opens

Choosing Who It’s For

1. Under Who’s it for?, type at least two letters of the family’s account (last) name in Search by account (last) name
2. Matching accounts appear with the names and photos of the people on them
3. Click the account you want

You can’t gift your own family — buy punches instead. If no accounts match, check the spelling; the search only finds families who can receive popsicle gifts.

Choosing the Gift

1. Pick the number of packs under Popsicle punch packs (10 punches each) — one to five, with the price shown for each
2. Optionally write a note in Add a note (optional) — up to 280 characters. The recipient sees it in their email
3. Review the line item and total
4. Send:
   • With a card on file, click Send gift — $X to charge your saved card
   • Otherwise click Continue to payment and pay on Stripe

Click Change to pick a different account before sending.

Note

Gifts are always charged immediately to your card, even when the club has Tab Mode on — they never go on your family’s tab. Gifts are untaxed, the same as buying punches for yourself.

What the Recipient Sees

The recipient family receives an email titled You received a gift! with the number of punches, your family name, and your note. The punches appear on their balance and in their transaction history.

In the Klahaya App

The app’s Popsicles screen has a Send a gift button. Search by account name, tap the family, choose How many packs?, add an optional note, and pay through the in-app payment sheet.

Caution

Gifting requires the club to have both Gifting and Popsicle Punches enabled for your account type, and payments must be turned on. If any of those are off, the gift button and page are hidden.
