Waitlist Settings
Admin > Waitlist > Settings (/admin/waitlist/settings) controls the public /join page: whether signups are open, what they cost, which details are collected, any extra questions, and the wording prospects see.
Membership Waitlist card
Section titled “Membership Waitlist card”- Join fee — dollars; $0.00 = free. When a fee is set, a prospect pays it after verifying their email; their spot is held (Finalizing) until the payment succeeds. Sales tax on the fee is set under Settings > Payments & Taxes in the Membership Waitlist Tax card.
- Account type for waitlisted families — the account type every signup is assigned. Choose None (signups disabled) to close the form.
Click Save.
The form
Section titled “The form”The lower card has four tabs. Click Save form after editing.
Fields
Section titled “Fields”Account details to collect — name and email are always asked. For each of the others choose Don’t ask, Ask (optional) or Ask (required):
- Your date of birth and Cell phone — saved to the primary contact’s profile
- Home phone and Home address — saved to the household record
- Family members — added to the household roster as dependents; Date of birth for each family member is only shown when Family members is on
Because these are written onto the family, profile and roster records when the prospect confirms their email, anything collected here is already filled in if they later become a member.
Questions
Section titled “Questions”Extra questions use the same question types as custom forms: description, text, textarea, number, checkbox, select, multiselect and date (up to 20). Answers stay with the waitlist entry and are shown from the queue’s View answers action — they are not written to the member record, so use the Fields tab for address and phone.
Wording
Section titled “Wording”Three sections of editable copy, each with sensible defaults:
- Signup page (/join) — Heading, Intro paragraph, Consent checkbox (the join fee, when set, is appended automatically) and When signups are closed
- After they submit — Heading and Body; write
\{email\}to insert the address they entered - Status page (after the email link) — Heading, Sub-heading and Note under their position (for example how quickly the queue usually moves)
Leave a prose field blank to omit that line; headings and the consent sentence fall back to the default if blanked.
Preview
Section titled “Preview”Renders exactly what /join shows with your unsaved changes — same components, same rules — with the submit button disabled.
