Membership Waitlist

Households that want to join the club sign up on the public waitlist page at /join. No login is needed to sign up; a login is created for you when you confirm your email.

Joining the waitlist

1. Open the club’s Membership Waitlist page (/join) and read the intro.
2. Enter Your name (full first and last name) and your Email. The club may also ask for your date of birth, cell phone, home phone, home address, the other family members who would join with you, and any extra questions it has configured.
3. Tick the consent checkbox. If the club charges a join fee, the checkbox text states the amount: A non-refundable join fee of $X applies after I confirm my email.
4. Click Join the waitlist.
5. You’ll see Check your email. Open the message Confirm your spot on the Klahaya membership waitlist and click the confirmation link. Nothing is saved to the club’s records until you do — the link is what secures your place.

Caution

Use an email address that isn’t already connected to a club account. If the address already has one, the form shows This email address already has an account and asks you to sign in instead — your existing account already covers you, including any waitlist spot you hold.

After you confirm

Clicking the confirmation link signs you in and creates your household record (with any family members and contact details you entered). You land on the Membership Waitlist status page at /home/waitlist, where you can check your place in line any time you sign in.

• Free waitlist — you see your live position, for example #12 of 40. Your position updates automatically as spots open up, and you receive the email You’re on the Klahaya membership waitlist.
• Join fee — the page shows Almost there with a Finalizing badge. Click Complete your join fee to pay on a secure Stripe checkout page. Your spot is held while you pay; once the payment succeeds you get your position, a receipt and the welcome email.

While waitlisted, your login is assigned the club’s waitlist account type, which normally has no access to lessons, dues or other member features.

Receiving a membership offer

When the club offers you a membership you receive Your Klahaya membership offer is ready by email, your status page shows Membership offer sent, and the link in the email opens You’re invited to become a member! (/home/waitlist/offer/…).

• Click Accept & pay $X (or Accept membership when there are no dues) to accept. Dues for the offered membership tier are charged to your payment method when you accept. If you have no card on file yet, the page asks you to Add card (or Add bank account where the club allows bank payments) first.
• Click Decline to turn the offer down.

Offers expire after 7 days. An expired offer returns you to the queue in your original position — the club can re-offer later.

After you accept, the status page shows Offer accepted until an administrator finishes setting up your membership, then Welcome to the club! once you are a full member with a member number.

Tip

Bank accounts can take a couple of days to verify before they can be charged. Add a card instead if you want to accept right away.
