Family Roster
Settings > My Family (/home/settings/family) lists everyone on your membership and lets any login-holder in the family keep their details up to date.
Two kinds of people
Section titled “Two kinds of people”The Family Members page is split into two sections:
- Logins — People in your family who can sign in to the portal. Each row shows a name, email and member type; your own row carries a You badge.
- Family roster — Children and others you register for lessons and activities. They have no login.
The same roster is also reachable from Lessons when you register a participant, so you never need to enter a person twice.
Editing a person
Section titled “Editing a person”- Click Edit on the person’s row.
- Update any of the fields in the Edit dialog:
- Photo — choose an image file (5 MB or smaller). The photo shows on the roster and helps staff at check-in.
- Full Name
- Email — login rows only. Changing it changes the address that person signs in with.
- Date of Birth — lessons and teams use it for age groups.
- Cell Phone and Work Phone
- Gender — (not specified), Female, Male or Other.
- Member Type — for example Adult or Child. A type marked (unavailable) is not included in your membership; a type showing a price carries a fee if you switch to it (see Adding People).
- Click Save Changes.
Giving a roster member their own login
Section titled “Giving a roster member their own login”An adult on the roster who was added without an email can be given a sign-in later:
- Click Invite login on their roster row (it only appears for adult member types that don’t already have a login).
- Enter their Email in the Invite … to sign in dialog and click Send invite.
- They receive an email with a link to set up their own login and manage the family account.
Once the invite is sent the person moves to the Logins section and the Invite login button disappears.
Season renewals
Section titled “Season renewals”If your membership charges a per-season fee for a member type (for example a caregiver), a Renew for [season] – $X button appears on that person’s row when the new season starts. Clicking it takes the payment and keeps the person active for the season. See Adding People for how fees work.
In the Klahaya app
Section titled “In the Klahaya app”Account > My family shows Everyone on your membership. Each row shows the person’s photo or initials, name, an Invited or Has a login chip where relevant, and a meta line such as member type and age. Tap a row to open Edit family member, which has the same fields as the web (photo, name and email, birthday, gender, phone, member type) and, for adult roster members, a Login card with an Email field and Send login invite button. The dashed Add a family member row at the bottom of the list opens the add screen.
