Public Calendar

The club calendar can be published at /calendar on the portal, where anyone can browse it without signing in, and embedded on the club’s public website.

  1. Go to Admin > Calendar
  2. Find the Public calendar page switch and turn it on

While it is on, anyone can open /calendar and see the calendars marked Visible on the public page. Turn it off and the address returns a not-found page immediately.

Each calendar has its own Visible on the public page checkbox (see Club Calendar Setup). Visitors see only calendars that are both public and Active. A signed-in member opening /calendar sees the same thing as a visitor — the public page shows everyone the same set, so the members-only calendars stay behind the login at /home/calendar.

The public page has the same Day, Week, and List views, category chips, event detail pages (with your added details, buttons, and images), and Add to your calendar subscribe links. Its header carries the club name and a Sign in button.

The /calendar pages are allowed to load inside a frame on klahaya.net and www.klahaya.net. On the website, add an iframe whose source is the portal’s /calendar address. When the page detects it is inside a frame, it hides its own header automatically, so the website’s branding is the only chrome visitors see — no special address or parameter is needed.
