Links and the Website

The app and the member portal are one account, and links move between them without a second sign-in.

With the app installed, tapping a link to a member page on the portal — in a club email, a text from another member, a banner button or a news post — opens the app rather than a browser. If the app has its own screen for that page (lessons, the calendar, reservations, your tab, a news post and so on), you land on that screen. If you are signed out, the app holds the link while you sign in and then delivers you to it.

A held link is dropped after 30 minutes and cleared on sign-out, so a link you tapped is never delivered to whoever signs in next on the phone.

A few things live only on the website — custom forms, the printable dues statement, some checkout flows. When you tap a link or a row that leads there, the app opens it in an in-app browser already signed in, so you land on the page instead of a login form. Buttons that do this show Opening… for a moment while the app prepares the signed-in link.

Other links behave the way you would expect: web pages elsewhere open in the in-app browser, and email, phone and text links open your mail, phone or messaging app.

  • Pull to refresh on any screen re-reads it. The spinner shows only for your pull, not for the app’s own background refreshes.
  • Checkouts open as sheets over the screen you were on. Closing the sheet takes you back where you were; a receipt stacks on top of it.
  • Destructive actions confirm first. Cancelling a registration or reservation, removing a payment method, or charging a saved card asks you to confirm in a sheet that names what is about to happen.
  • Charges name the amount. When a saved card will be billed the instant you tap, the button says so and shows the amount; otherwise the phone’s payment sheet opens for you to pay.
  • The club notice — a message the club can post to every app user — appears as a card under the title on each tab. Dismiss it with its close button; it stays dismissed until the text changes.
