The Waiver Pad
The Waiver pad (/checkin/waiver-pad) is a second device — typically an iPad left signed in at the front desk — where guests sign the club’s guest waiver. Staff send guests to it from the check-in station; the pad shows them in a live queue.
Setting it up
Section titled “Setting it up”- Sign in on the tablet with a staff or admin account.
- Open Waiver pad from the header of the check-in station, or go to
/checkin/waiver-paddirectly. - Leave the page open. It updates on its own as guests are sent from the desk.
The page reads “Guests sent from check-in appear here. Tap a guest to sign.” When nothing is pending it shows “No waivers waiting. When the front desk sends a guest, they’ll show up here.”
Signing
Section titled “Signing”- From the check-in station, staff click Send to waiver pad in the Guests section.
- The guest’s name appears on the pad with the waiver title and “guest of (family)”. Tap Sign →.
- The waiver opens: intro text, any questions or confirmation checkboxes the club added, and Type full name to sign.
- Tap Sign & complete.
The pad thanks the guest by first name, returns to the queue, and the check-in station’s badge for that guest changes to ✓ Signed immediately. The signature is recorded for the season, so the same guest won’t be asked again on a later visit with the same host — or with a different host, if staff choose to reuse it.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”If the club has entered addresses under Notify staff when a guest waiver is signed (in Admin › Waivers › Member Waivers), each completed guest waiver — from the pad, a QR link or the public link — sends an email to those addresses.
